In December of 2014 We certified our lightweight fabric Poseidon-245 to ISO 1149-3 in AITEX (Spain) laboratory.
This standard specifies a set of requirements and test methods to measure protection against static electricity or charge decay. Electrostatic resistance is required when the worker is exposed to environments where a spark could cause explosions or ignite fires (e.g. petrol stations, petrol tanker drivers, flour mills, clean rooms, etc). Garments according to this standard do not offer protection from main voltages.
Poseidon passed TEST METHODS FOR MEASUREMENT OF CHARGE DECAY with shielding factor (s) = 0.57 and half decay time (t50) = < 0.01s.
